To be considered a Game Changer, a nominee must have spearheaded beneficial change or significant innovation in the past 20 years, and be able to demonstrate positive results for the UK agriculture industry at a local or national level the UK.

Nominees can be anyone from within the agricultural industry, or someone outside the sector.

The competition is open to people aged 18 or over who are resident in the UK.

Nominations are open until 30 June 2024. To nominate someone, simply tell us why they deserve to be recognised.






What transformative innovation or other significant change has the nominee spearheaded?

Describe the achievement, which must be within the past 20 years.

What does it do, and why is it critical to the future of farming and food on a local or national level?


Describe how the achievement outlined above has heled improve and advance the agriculture industry on a local and/or national level. For instance:

  • Has it made farmers’ lives easier, saved them money or time?
  • Has it reduced complexity in the supply chain?
  • Has it helped bring new blood into the industry?
  • Or something else..?

Ten Game Changers will be shortlisted, profiled in the magazine, and invited to the Farmers Weekly Awards in October. But only one will win on the night.
