Here at the Woodland Trust we support those pioneering farmers who work to be custodians of the land, using innovative approaches to leave it in a better state than they found it. Planting trees, alongside a host of other sustainability measures, can increase biodiversity, improve soil quality, prevent erosion, provide shelter, offset carbon emissions, reduce flooding and generate income. The winner of this award will be chosen from amongst the finalists of the other award categories.
